Hey, Everyone. So recently, I went in for a Physical Exam that I needed to do. The Doctor said how surprisingly healthy I was compared to the other patients. But he had one concern. He told me I was Overweight by 35 pounds. I am 18 years old, 5'7 Tall, and weight 200 pounds. The ideal weight at my point is 165 pounds or lower. So he told me that I should do something about my weight.
So ever since then, I have just been thinking about it lately. It's now to the point where I can't really have much confidence about how I look. I tend to judge myself and wonder what other people are thinking about me when doing activities, wondering in town, and just everything else. So now I want to do something about it and get rid of this overweight thing out of the window. But I need some help.
I live in the desert of New Mexico and I have no resources for 60 miles. (Nearest Walmart & other stores) I only have a Gas Station 2 1/2 miles away but that's it. I also have a bit of a budget, so the cheaper the better. (And I mean Cheap) Where I live, we have open land and rocky hills. And that my closest friends are 30 miles away. (I searched online for ways to lose weight and one is to do a group activity, but I really can't do that.) I have no access to gyms or Equipment like a treadmill, weights, and dumbells. (Except for two 10 pounds weights, that I all I have)
So what I'm really asking is, how can I lose weight in this type of environment? So here's a list to make it simple.
1. Foods I can get that I can afford, $20-$30 will be fine. That can last for about 2 weeks.
2. Healthy recipes or snacks with/without food
3. Workout plan I can do.
4. And just any ways to lose weight will be great.
Thank you so much, and I would appreciate an answer. I am in my last year of school and it would be great to lose weight while still in school (or even before this coming Christmas) and look great for next year at College. (Oh yeah, I'm home-schooled by the way) I sorry if the post was long and I hope I told you enough information. This is my first question ever posted. If you have any other questions, please ask.
Thank you!
