Hi guys,
I just moved to Sheffield three weeks ago and now I wanted to try going zero-waste. Since I saw the amount of waste I produced over the last couple of weeks I was shocked..
Does anyone have any tips maybe locations/stores where I can buy produces without any packaging (pasta, rice, seeds .....)
Fruit and vegetable is a lot easier to find in bulk (Moor Market) but I haven't come around a place where I can buy the other stuff.
Open for any tips and information!
Thank you! :)

You have addressed a philosophical topic which gets silly when you look at it closely. "Zero waste" means food that you don't eat rots in the field where it grew. It provides food for bugs and animals: zero waste! Of course, some people don't want to have to walk to the fields where the food grows (walk = "zero waste") so farmers pick the food and carry it to stores where you can buy it. So they need packaging to keep the food clean and make it easy to handle, and they need trucks, and on and on. These things are wasteful, but they make your life better in every way.
Bottom line: A good buzzword does not mean a good idea.
Related observation: A good buzzword can obscure analysis for fifty years.
