I've been this way for 3 years now. I can't leave my house for treatment, and there doesn't seem to be any sort of help for people like me where they would do house visits. I live in new jersey. Any ideas?

Hello. I too suffer from agoraphobia( 10yrs) and I am housebound as well. I wish I had better news for u but the truth is is there are very few resources for people with are disability. We cant leave our homes to get help yet we cant get help to come to our homes. It kind of puts us in a pickle; wouldnt u say! A few weeks ago I borrowed a friends group on Facebook to meet with other agoraphobics and discuss some ideas regarding jobs, programs, resources, funding, etc... in hopes to create more assistance and help for us. If u have a Facebook and would like to learn more or join us in our journey, please join the group "Crossing Bridges Together" agoraphobia support group. Ur also welcome to contact me anytime u want for any reason. Stay strong! Ur friend Teresa
