How should I convince my mom to allow us to have a pet cat? My dad and sisters are fine with it, but we still have to convince our mom. I've done research on how to take care of a cat, saved up money, and I have been getting pretty good grades. I'm pretty responsible, I am usually the one taking care of my sisters- packing them their lunches etc. I've talked to my mom a few times, but she just says "Not yet." I don't want this to be a thing that stretches out until I move out of the house... But, of course I respect her descision, but I really want to get a cat for Christmas or something
