I recently bought a horse from a gypsy and when I come to put her bridle on she will have everything on apart from the bit she throws her head up and panics she also does this when taking out the bit even if it try to hold her head down she throws it up and panics but eventually drops it I can't even hold onto her to stop her from doing it with her being a strong 14.3hh cob! I can't get the dentist to check and get her teeth done because she's hell to try and do anything in her mouth with,could it be sensitive? Sore? Bad experience? If anything I'd have to sedate her to get he teeth done

well animals are just the same when they have a bad experience somebody did something to her and she remember the whole episode and they relive the experence i would get the vet to come see her or take her to him he probably will be able to tell you whats going on and how you can correct it you might need to bring someone out to look at behavior specialist have the teeth looked at first
