I live in Worcester Massachusetts and I am very confused about how to homeschool my child. My child is a sophomore in Highschool and I found this homeschool website called T4L and it offers a curriculum to show to the school. But they say that there not a school. So what do I need more. And also I am the only parent in the house hold but I have a full time job. Do I need to be with my child while she homeschool or can I just go to work and check up on her work after. Is it a law that I need to be there. I rather her be on her own.it's makes her most comfortable.

You are about ten years late getting started. At this point it is time to start thinking about how this young person is going to make a living just 2 1/2 years from now. High school is nothing more than supervised play. I suggest you put her into acting classes at the community college, concentrating on vocal skills such as story telling, drama, and/or public speaking. She should also have classes in civics and personal financial management. (How to write a check, apply for a loan, buy a house, stuff like that.) Get "Dress For Success" by John Molloy and let her study the parts addressed to students. That book can completely turn her life around.
What she does in 2 1/2 years from now is for concern later. The topic is how to homeschool my child because I feel it's better for her learning and focus. And you can be homeschool and still have great success and the same amount of success. Thank you for your response.
