I’m a sophomore in highschool and recently i’ve been talking to my good friend’s cousin who happens to be a freshman in college. we’ve been taking for about a month and both of us have developed romantic feelings and we really like each other and want to pursue dating. we only have a 3 year age difference. he’s coming home (we live very close) in 3 days and he wants to take me out. would it be a good idea to start dating him?

See what I mean? The first thing you learn after marriage is that the honeymoon lasts less than a month. After that you wonder why you were in such a hurry before.
You have been talking for a month, have never met or gone on a date and yet you think you have developed "romantic feelings, for each other. Can I say how high school that sounds. Immature gotta a crush from texts you have 2 more years of high school and he just got out of high school.
We're talking crush and high hopes. There is no romance. It's high school hormones and testosterone. You will find that a long distance relationship is not fun. If he is living at school it makes no difference how close his home is. He can't dump a study group or a class to text you. There are no excuses accepted in college you do the work show up for class or you get kicked out. Its a different world than high school.
I would answer your question no not a good idea to date. I'm sure your ego wants to brag about dating a college guy but he will be a constantly missing college guy.
he’s a freshman in college, id have to wait that long?
