... position. But on my1st day at work , my supposed "training day" "slow day". It was super busy and I was actually kinda flung into the other position that day & from that day forward. & never was properly trained for the original position or acclimated to the company. They're short staffed & now I'm actually wearing 3 or 4 hats & feeling overwhelmed. Because it is expected of me to keep up & they act like I ALREADY know where everything is or the company procedures for everything. Which is unfair & unrealistic. I've only been there a week but they act like I've been there 3 or 4 months even after I stated to them that I felt that I wasn't properly trained & they were understaffed so I'm doing the best I can. Well, it seems to be going in one ear and out the other. What would you do??
Hi, what would you do?? I was hired for one position with the option of helping out in another?

I would meet with the manager and tell her how you feel about what's taking place and that you don't feel you have the training you need to do the job you must be a great team member or they wouldn't want you to do the work you do if they didn't have faith in you I would just talk to them.
Thank you for your response.
I've tried talking to them but they
Are the type that think employees
Are just making excuses. It's becoming
Overwhelming now especially since the
Only employee who could help just went
Out on maternity leave. Yesterday I was
On the verge of quitting & I've never done
That in my life after only a few weeks
Yes. Thank you for your response.
