I have been sick my whole life and seem to catch any virus I am within range of, so I miss about 35 days a semester in high school because of this problem, I have been diagnosed with a disorder that causes saline to constantly produce in my body which ends up leading me to be sick every week sometimes or every other week, saline is actually suppose to help your body fight colds, however mine does the opposite because of how much I am producing daily, it causes a lot of sinus problems too which makes my sickness's extremely bad, I gave the diagnosis to my school after constantly fighting with them about my absences, now the problems are returning and if I miss 3 days or more the school now wants a doctors note, the problem is that my doctor is very unreliable and often times won't give us a note or it takes him a week or two which does not help my situation, I urgently need advice as to what I can do to stop the school from asking for a doctors note because I honestly can't give them one and they already have my diagnosis.

Why are you handling this? This is something your parents should be handling. You should be on medication and have flu shots and what ever else can be done to keep you healthy not you just waiting around for the next infection. You should be wearing a face mask to avoid inhaling other peoples germs during cold and flu season. You should have antibacterial hand wash with you constantly and clean your hands if you touch things other people have touched.
Since this is a chronic health issue have the darn doctor write a letter stating this will be with you a life time and give the disease name and what it does. The hell with notes at each illness.
If you are catching illnesses from everybody else there should be prevention lifestyle changes you should be following at school besides just the mask. It might be avoiding groups or sick people etc
Your parents need to work with the dr and supplying the school with medical info to keep you healthy.
This is not your responsibility.
I appreciate your response and it means a lot that you are willing to give me advice.
My mother who is the main person that deals with my illness and the school problems, currently is in a very bad state, she has the same condition that I do and because she is much older, the condition is a lot worse. She simply cannot do a lot of regular things anymore like working at her jobs. She really does not have the proper health to deal with this her self and therefore I am currently trying to find answers as to how to deal with my situation. As for medication, I am currently on medication however, it is only a temporary solution and I knew this the day I was given it. I really need surgery which is a possibility of happening soon.
I do not know if a letter saying the following details you stated above would even work. Considering that the school has a full fledged diagnosis letter that came from my specialist and they still insist that we give them more doctor's notes.
I wish it was as easy as written and I do agree with everything you said above. However, after constantly going to my doctor about this situation, nothing has ever been done to the extent that it needed to be taken to. My doctor is very unreliable and I wish we had a different one but my mother although she is an amazing lady. Can be very lazy and therefore she does not wish to get a new doctor.
I could try some of the life style changes listed above but they won't exactly solve the problem. They might be able to prevent it easier but after having this for my whole life I realize that their is not much I can do without the help of a proper doctor. Currently I do not have one.
There are other various health conditions I have as well, however I doubt those will even be diagnosed because my mother is to tired to do much any more. That is why I must take things into my own hands. If you have any other advice for my situation that would be appreciated, thanks.
