I am leasing a horse. Does that mean I (sort of..?) own her?

The horses name is Daisy and she is my first lease horse. Can I technically own her? I know I sound stupid but I really don't know what to say if people ask me about her. Can I count her as owned by me?

No. Not at all. You have a contract and you should read it and memorize it and ask somebody to explain everything. You do not &ldquo;own&rdquo; the horse. The lease is legally binding on you. You could say you are renting the horse.
