My family have recently moved into the area of where the school is and I am constantly being bullied for my height (5ft 3/4). I am 14 and 3 days into Year 10. My parents are 5ft 3 and 5ft 1. All my fellow classmates and students I see around the corridors who haven't seen me before say "Are you in Year 7?" I don't show it but I emotionally affects me. What can I do?
Hi,I have joined a new school and everyday students are bullying me because of my height. Help!?

Hi!
Why does it affect you? Do you personally worry about your height?
Why are they treat you that way - does they want to bother you or it's just a fun? What if you ask them not to do that? I think they'll stop it if you are on good generally.
Anyway you'd better to talk with them about it openly. If it's impossible I'd recommended you to think about changing your school. Sometimes we can't join the team, it happens.
Well m8 it's tough I can imagine. Being short sucks sometimes. Personally some of my best friends are short and hey are incredible people. They get picked on all the time but they work through it and try and be the best they can be. I love my friends and we have been friends for ages. If you want to make friends, friends will come to you not judging you by your appearance. If you just keep being yourself ignoring the bullies for a little bit it will get better I promise. Good luck;)
Thank you
Hi, it affects me because they are calling me a year 7 constantly. They are treating me that way because they haven't seen me before I expect. I feel really awkward around my classmates at break and lunch and I hope it doesn't happen for much longer. I can't really tell everyone I see to stop calling me for my height. I don't have the option to change school preferably as it's the only secondary in my area.
