... for about three weeks, and haven't seen cure. My acne seems to be getting worse. I called my gyno and she said that it should work after about 2 packs. How long does birth control usually take to be effective, and is it likely that I'll see results? Is there success in using this birth control? Thanks in advance!

Lo loestrin or any other low dosage birth control typically takes about two months for your body to get used to receiving the treatment. The birth control just keeps your body from releasing an egg by controlling the amounts of different hormones released. Hormones usually have a direct correlation with acne, especially considering that hormones control sebum production on your face. As this dosage becomes increasingly normal for your body, the hormones that trigger sebum production on your skin may start to regulate, which may make your skin less or more oily and may help with breaking out.
It balances out your hormones, which may be a cause of your acne. When those hormones become consistently balanced, your acne may go away. It just takes some time :).
