What what happens when you try to upload a vedio, Like a error, or crash, ECT. then I may be able to help.
Well, when I hit the upload button it's an error because this never happens so, it's an error dose that answer how I can fix it?
Try uninstalling youtube and then reinstall it. Then it should update, Then see if your able to upload anything to it.
