I had a baby when I was 16, a week before turning 17. Long story short my mom and stepdad basically forced me to legally sign her off to them "to protect her from her father" with the promise that when I am finacially strong enough one day they I can get her. I am 21 now and my daughter is 4 years and 4 months old (she know I am her mother and I act as her mother although I only see her once a month due to the fact that we live 350km from eachother.) I have a very good job and earn a good salary. I have my own car and rent my onw house. I am completely financially independent. I begged my parents to let my daughter come live with me but they refuse. What can I do?
Hi, I am from South Africa so I hope you can help me?

well the only thing you can do is take them to court and get a judge to let you have her do they have custody or are they just her legal guardinship of her did you sign something that states you could have her back once you get situated cause if you have something that states that you just need to call the authorities and show them the paper if not you'll have to do it in front of a judge it is a good thing that she knows who you really are
