im ready 18 and was diagnose with osgood schlatters and of last year.
Hi guys can someone help me, is osgood schlatters a growing pain and will grow from it?

"Osgood-Schlatter disease occurs most often in children (7 - 14) who participate in sports that involve running, jumping and swift changes of direction — such as soccer, basketball, figure skating and ballet."
If you don't do any of the above sports frequently, as in at least 3x a week, then you don't have that disease. If you are in doubt go see a doctor.
To avoid pain, physical therapist can teach you exercises to stretch the thigh's quadriceps and hamstring muscles, which may help reduce the tension on the spot where the kneecap's tendon attaches to the shinbone. Strengthening exercises for the quadriceps can help stabilize the knee joint.
Besides, icing the affected area, especially after physical activities may help to recude pain. Proper stretching of the leg muscles and physical activities which won´t affect the knee like cycling or swimming may help to avoid pain in the first place.
