Details:

The Cost of 5 Shirts and 4 Pairs of shorts is Rs 2280.
If One Shirt Costs Rs 60 more than one Pair of shorts,
find the cost of one pair of shorts.

First you build an equation. T = 5S + 4P

Substitute the given information. 2280 = 5(P + 60) + 4P

Evaluate that and you have the answer.
