Argan oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree (Argania spinosa L.) that is endemic to Morocco. In Morocco, argan oil is used to dip bread in at breakfast or to drizzle on couscous or pasta. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argan_oil

Argan oil is food, paraffin is not. Hydrocarbons have no place in animal nutrition except that they absorb oil soluble vitamins and carry them away. Paraffin oil is not known to be anything but a fire hazard, so it won't actually make you sick. There just isn't any good reason to use it.
thanks a lot
