In an experiment to measure the heat released by the combustion of a sample of fuel,
the compound was burned in an oxygen atmosphere inside a calorimeter and the
temperature rose by 2.78 oC. When a current of 1.12 A from an 11.5 V source flows
through a heater in the same calorimeter for 162 s, the temperature rose by 5.11 oC.
What is the heat released by the combustion reaction?
Help with thermodynamics!?
