In the pattern below, 4th row, section in CAPS. If I "skip the next two dc and work into the next dc, then I have also skipped a sc...won't I loose a several stiches?
Ch 47 (56-61).
1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 46 (55-60) sc.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 1. (1 sc. 2 dc) in first sc. *Skip next 2 sc. (1 sc. 2 dc) in next sc. Rep from * to last 3 sc. Skip next 2 sc. 1 sc in last sc. Turn.
4th row: Ch 1. (1 sc. 2 dc) in first sc. *Skip next 2 dc. (1 sc. 2 dc) IN NEXT DC. Rep from * to last sc. 1 sc in last sc. Turn. Rep last row for pat until work from beg measures 6 (7-8)" [15 (18-20.5) cm]. Fasten off. Fold piece in half. Sew side and top seam.
