Hello! My feral barn cat just had kittens (we plan on getting all pir cats fixed as soon as possible) three weeks ago, and I've discovered that she's not a very good mother. She's very wild but also young. She's currently keeping her kittens in our "cat shed" where all our cats live and eat. Anyways, she started with a litter of six which has dwindled down to three. One of these kittens seems very healthy and fat and fluffy, but the other two, while still full, seem neglected. They have muddy/crusty bums and one had mud all over his face (I cleaned it all off but they bulge out of his head badly; my guess is fluid build up) and they're more stationary and sleepy than their big sister who's roaming around as I type. I can't take them to the vet right now, and the only cat milk I have expired 8 years ago. Keep in mind I'm only 14 and cannot drive and we live on a farm more than a 7 minute drive from a vet. Please help me out, I really don't know what to do. I know how to take care of a kitten as in keeping their body temperature stationary and stimulating them to urinate and defecate, and honefully I can figure out how to bottle feed.

Sorry, when I said "bulge out of his head" I meant his eyes. They're in very bad shape.

AND I haven't seen mama in there with them all day.

First of all: You need to find a way to keep the kittens warm until they can see a vet or get treatment. You may be able to put blankets in a basket and set them there next to you. Although your cat milk expired 8 years ago, use regular milk just to give them something to eat. It is not as nutritious as their mothers milk but it will have to do. And if your parents are home or if they will be back, when they get back ask them to drive you to the vet to check them out. I hope all goes well and the kittens live a happy life!
Thank you for the advice! I've now put them on an old comforter and under a heat lamp, they look very comfy! My dad is going to pick up some new bottles and formula tomorrow night, and tonight I'm going to leave them in their shed incase Mama cat decides to show up, and if they're still hungry tomorrow I'll take them inside and care for them after school. My parents say they're very busy right now, my mom is moving out next weekend and tension + stress is pretty high right now, I'll keep nagging for a vet appointment though.
