I'm writing a thesis on lingustics. It is about stylistic devices used by authors to portray the characters of antagonists (crinimals) in detectives stories. For this reason, can you advise me a crime thriller where the writer would pay a lot of attention to describing the killer's thoughts and emotions? Books like Hannibal Lecter series or 'Along came a spider' by Patterson. Maybe sth from P. Cornwell or M.Conelly. Tnx!
I can't. I live in Russia. Here Librarians are not conscience of foreign modern literature.
