me and a boy had crushes on eachother in elementy school that continued into Jr. high. But we could only be really close friends becuase I wasn't aloud to date tell I was sixteen. One day on the bus (one year ago) he said "I'll wait tell your sixteen, then if we're both still interested we will date." And I agreed. Happy day. Now, one year later, in highschool, we've become more distant becuase of diffrent friends, diffrent sports, and he's been distracted by other girls and I'm scared he's forgotten or he's not interested. I still talk to him sometimes. But I don't know.... Is he still intorested? and if not how do I caught his attention again?
(I turn sixteen this year.)

it depends on a lot of things if he still likes you for instance: him and his friends make fun of him when your around,he's kind of awkward around you, he might talk about other girls to you but usally not. just because he doesn't talk to you that much doesn't mean he doesn't like you it could just mean hes shy but if hes not a shy person the first thing you have to do is become better friends with him because your bf should be your bff after thart just hint that you still like him I hope this helps!
Talk to him, it's the best approach you will have to find out what he wants. Don't be too forward and say something like hey, do you still want to date etc? That's silly, but first try to become friends again, chat, hang out etc. And remember, if he doesn't feel the same again, move on and find someone else, someone new, change is as good as a holiday and there are a lot of good guys out there to date.
First off I would have just went against my parents rules and dated him in secret if I were you. Another thing is that you should go talk to him and ask him what he wants because if he doesn't want you then he will tell you. And why are you scared just move on and find someone new it ain't that hard to be honest. If you seriously want his attention that bad do something to catch his attention. What i would do is talk to him. But if the girls that he gets distracted by are really pretty. You should just talk to other guys right in front of him and get distracted by them and see how he reacts. (if you ever do this don't take it too far though) because if he is jealous or whatnot he might still like you but if he doesn't seem to care then he doesn't and your just gonna have to move on.
