Help Me Please!?!?

Okay, I have little sister issues! She's always annoying me and using my stuff for her little toys! In fact, today she woke me up by her laying on me while going through my drawers of art supplies. She then told me she was trying to wake me up... She's a terrible liar... Next she ran off with my laptop to play on it! So I snuck into the room she was in and took the food supplies from her toys. I realized some of my gemstones were in her toy house too! I also took them back. When I returned to my room, I opened the food supplies and found my take apart erasers cracked into pieces! I was fuming!!! So I ran back to the room she was still playing my laptop in and confronted her, then I saw my mom's and mine homemade jell-o on a plate by her! She took some without permission! I felt like slapping her or at least doing some yoga but neither one helped. So I need to know what to do so she doesn't take my stuff!!!

Things that might help:
~I am almost a teenager.
~My sister is 8 years old.
~She is very dramatic and has drama issues.
~Her toys are Lps (Littlest Pet Shop)
~ My erasers can't be fixed, at least not with glue.
~Her bed is in my room
~I have some very valuable stuff.
~She also takes my cats.

I've been dealing with two younger sisters all of my life and we've had many arguments regarding toys, clothing, TV shows, art supplies, and various other things.

The best thing to do is be nice. It's hard not to get angry of course- believe me, but the more reaction she gets the more likely she is to repeat it for attention. Just be cool about it and take some creative methods for dealing with her.

- Maybe put in some shelves for your possessions if she can't reach or doesn't have access to chairs.
- Some kind of safe or locker to keep her away from your stuff. (Also if you do this method, I suggest leaving fake combinations in various places where she look just to annoy her for fun!) 
- You could also hide various things in various places so she can't take them, (But make sure you remember where you put them, I once stuffed my laptop under a couch cushion and couldn't find it for over a month)
- Maybe set aside a couple of items you don't really care about just so she can use them, then put the rest somewhere she can't get them.
- Mess with her, for when you really want to hit her but you don't want to get in trouble just state something vague like "Oh well at least you didn't take my..." but don't finish it, pretend to hint at something really valuable you don't want her to touch and if it works then she'll be scrambling around on a wild goose chase trying to find this non-existent item you pretend to treasure oh so much.

If your younger sister is still continuing to mess with you to try and seek out attention, try to give her some attention in a positive manner, like asking to play a game with her, doing crafts or drawing, watching a fun movie. I'd recommend asking her when she seems to be in a good mood, (I've been smacked before after asking my sister if she'd like to watch a movie with me, one that she had been dying to see in fact) the better the mood, the more likely she is to cooperate.

Sorry about the cats, I'm not sure how to help there since I don't own cats nor have that issue personally. Hope this helps and good luck.
