Well, if you like her be confident, girls like confidence, ask her out. then if she likes you and says yes, there you go, if not trust me and dont get too upset or mad because either she'll come around or you'll find another girl, youre obviously young and in my opinion dont really need to be too concerned about relationships :] i hope this helps you.

Well, start off by letting her get to know you and start to get to no her. You can do this by getting a group project to do with her, or doing interviews, or just start ing a conversation with her. Then, find out what kind of extracurricular activities she does that you like. Track'n Field is okay, but not the best as unless you are a very experienced runner, you can't talk while your running because you won't be able to keep up. But can still talk during lunch. And same goes for choir. The holy grail is if your school has woodshop or something like that. There, you can talk while you're doing the activities. But a anyways, make sure that she is enjoying it and not just waiting for you to leave. From there, you can start to flirt with her and tease her a bit.
During those first few days, spend more time with her when she is happy and less when she is depressed. That way she will associate you with happiness. But later on, you need to be there for her even when she is down in the dumps. Now, it's time for you to ask her out (not necessarily on a date, but to be your girlfriend). For that extra bit o umph, do it at night during a school event or a party. But make sure that you are away from all the noise and people. Plan out what your going to say beforehand so that you aren't at a loss for words.
Coming from a sixth grader.
Hope this helped.
