Hi, I'm a 15 year old freshman male. Last year I was in choir and was taking voice lessons. My falsetto was really good and strong. I could hit the notes in stayin alive almost perfectly. But after eighth grade ended I stopped voice lessons and wasn't able to do choir this year as a freshman so I lost practice. Now my falsetto is jacked up. When I try to sing a random note in falsetto either nothing comes out (just cracky breath) or a squeaky note an octave higher than the one I was trynna hit comes out. By the way, I have this squeaky voice that is exactly an octave in range that I never had before, and that's what my voice sometimes changes to when I try to hit the note in falsetto. Its really frustrating since I'm trying out for an acapella group in a week and I really want my falsetto back. FYI, my low range has dropped 5 notes in the last year from a D to an F. Why is the falsetto thing happening, what is that squeaky voice, and what can I do to bring my falsetto back? What exercises can I do to strengthen the falsetto and get rid of the extra breath and cracking and the squeakiness ?
Thanks
