I've know this girl for about two years now, and we're like best friends. I know a lot about her and she knows a lot about me.
The reason I need help is she sometimes makes me think she likes me and then that she just thinks of me as friends.
Some reasons I think she likes me are that she touches me a lot. Like she always had to touch my arm when she wants my help. When we stand in a line at school, she is always behind or infront of me, and if we're standing still she gets really really close to my body. Like so close I bump into her if I turn around. When ever we sit next to each other she always had her chair close to mine as she can get, and she asks me for help on even the simplest problems when she is probably smart then me(We're both in a really smart class).
But I also think she likes me just as a friend because she always calls me a friend, and ignores me sometimes.
She makes tons of eye contact with me and I try to look right back, but she either turns away, or stares right into my eyes and I can't keep looking or I'll get lost in her beautiful brown eyes.
She also had done some stuff that was really forward that hinted to me she may like me. Like once I was preforming something at a concert and she was watching(her brother was there), and when I went to leave she yelled out "THATS MY BEST FRIEND!" pointing at me next to her mom. When I asked her why she said "'Cause I'm always talking about you at home, and I wanted my mom to know who you were."
Another one was with her dad, we were on a field trip, and he was our chaperone. He said "You must be (my name), (Her name) always talks about you." Then later on when we were eating lunch I was going to sit away from them so she could talk to her friends, and she insisted I sit next to her and her dad on the other side. Soon she started to scoot really close to me and our knees were touching a little. And her dad saw us and just looked back at his food.
Lastly, when we were doing something with a knife in science, I was cutting something and she said"Be careful", so I asked why and she said "Because I would care if you got hurt and that would be bad."
She also trusts me enough with her phone and her locker combination.
She also helps me whenever I ask like getting in my locker or homework help. She alsways wants to help me.
If you think she does like me, then please tell me how to ask, because she is really hot (but denies her looking pretty) and always is cute. But she can also be shy at times.
