Help Girls only Help can your period last for only a day and a half what do I do?

Brown blood can be normal. I wouldn't worry about this if it's your first period. I got my first period when I was 11, although my ovulation pain came without the blood so I didn't know I was getting my period all I knew was I was in the worst pain of my life and was ready to puke. The blood didn't start til like four days later. Periods generally last for about a week, give or take a few days. My normal period is very heavy and normally 8-10 days, but I'm on the birth control pill (which changes your hormones) and now only bleed for 2 days. So perhaps your short period is a hormone imbalance? Could be nothing. Best thing to do is ask your mum or other female adult or a doctor if you are worried. Better to be safe than sorry but try not to stress over it love.
