Im in the process of moving into a rental property and tonight we have discovered that its infested with bed bugs. They are coming out of the cracks behind the trim on the walls. All my belongings are in the house half way unpacked. They are in my furniture as of now and my bedding. Prob inside of what i havent unpacked also. What do i do?

Write yourself a checklist of things to look at before you sign a rental agreement.
~ If you can smell anything, anything at all, that is a deal breaker. Mildew may be only a slight odor but it will still make you sick.
~ Turn on the water in the shower. Watch it while a partner turns the water in the kitchen sink on and off. Be sure the flow is not affected in the shower.
~ Be sure there are no bugs and no evidence of bugs. Look under the sinks, around the toilet, and in closets.
~ Be sure the entire place is clean: as clean as the landlord will expect you to leave it.
Since you are already moved in, go to a hardware store or Wally World and get D.E. and the little puffer to spread it. You can puff D.E. into everything, even food. It is entirely safe for people and pets, but it grinds bugs to bits.
