So i bought a few clipper lighters from my local meijer outlet store for 65 cents each, and they where repackadged in meijer packaging and i lit the flame and turned it on its side and a bunch of extra gas shot up and made the flame huge almost burnt my face. so i tried another lighter and the other one when turned on side and flame got bigger as well (not as big of a problem, but still defective). so i gathered that they are taking all the defective reject lighters and packaging them and selling them for half the price. So my question is is this illegal what they are doing? can i sue? who would i talk to to get compensation? the store or the lighter company?

Maybe you should just take this as "lesson learned". Its not worth the mental strain and troubles that come with trying to recieve your money back. Besides you didnt sustain an injury so i dont see how you could sue or whether it would be worth it to go through all this. How much better would you sleep at night if you just proved yourself tk be the bigger person and forgot about all this. Good luck to you my friend, may God bless you, and make us both to remember all the thinngs he has done for us already and be thankful. Take care friend!
