Here's the story:
I was doing a candlestick on my bed (this is something I learned in gymnastics, so if you don't know what it is then that's okay) and fell backwards. Both of my legs hit the foot board of my bed (it's wooden) really hard, but the right hit it harder. I cried for about three minutes, and went downstairs to tell my parents what happened. I got an ice pack and kept it on my leg for a while, and then I took it off. There was still a bruise and a big knot on my right leg, but nothing on my left. The pain on my right was still very acute.
I also had a cut on my right leg where the knot was, but it healed over time.
Now, about a month later, there's nothing on my left leg but a knot is still on my right leg. The bruise healed, and it doesn't hurt anymore where the knot is, but I'm not sure why the knot is still there. Yes, it has gotten smaller as time passed, but when I rub my finger over it, it still feels like a pretty good knot.
Should I be concerned, or is this normal?
Hello. So, I hit my leg really hard on wood about a month ago. A knot is still there..is this bad?

NOTE: I have told my parents about it, but they haven't said we should see a doctor yet.
