... provide an increase in pay but considering the amount of overtime I have been putting in, this change to salary is actually going to cut my pay by $200-$300 a month. They stated I am now getting paid by "projects" and do not have the right to say I put in my 8 hours, it's time for me to go home. Is there anything I can do? I will even be content with denying the raise and staying where I am at as long as I am on hourly pay

you could decide that you don't want to go to salary its your right you can tell the employer you thought about the change i'm really not interested in that i want to remain a hourly paid employer did they say why they were doing that to you?just say thats not fair your looseing 200-300 a month
Thank you. They will be switching me to salary due to new leadership roles and responsibilities. I did have a word with the HR manager and explained the situation. They ten realized how much of a it I will be taking and are discussion this with the CEO. Hope all goes well.
