My department is hiring for a temp clerical receptionist that can possibly lead to permanent. I was referred by the department and told to apply for the position! I was so delighted and happy which of course, I applied. I went through the interview process and was given a reference sheet. My references got back to me and mentioned they spoke to my director and everything went well. I was told by Monday next week they will have a decision made. Now I'm nervous and possibly over thinking it but I haven't heard back from them. I was invited to attend a meeting with my director and the manger so I can overshadow my manger. On my way to the meeting I made a wrong turn which led me to get to the the department at 9:29 or 9:30. The time I need to be at the office was 9:30. Now I'm worried that maybe that was a factor in the decision making and that's why I haven't heard from them or just in general they decided to go a different route. Any advice or thoughts?
