... happen two days ago i was asked if i can come in early because they were short staffed so i decided to help so i went early, my schedule was from 12:30 to 6:00 but i went in to help 40 min early the building was open from 11:30 to 7pm but i worked from 12 to 6 when i got in a supervisor was on my post and she asked would i be able to stay until closing at 7pm but i told her i could not because of a family emergency and i needed to get home but she then told me that i have to stay until closing and that i could not leave at the time i was scheduled to leave and it was nothing that i can do, i stressed an emergency and she forced me to stay, she said if i left it would be abandoning post i had no other choice but to leave my post to help my sick elderly grandfather i went to work the next day and was sent home if i am terminated do i qualify for unemployment ?

yea if they terminate you with out a good reason i wouldn't go in like that for them any more and just do your regular shift and no more make sure its on your pay check how come they sent you home/ i would just let the unemployment office what happened and why if you have to follow up with this
