Hello, I have a 1998 Ford Taurus and I of course lost the only key I have for the car. I tried taking out the Ignition Lock (the part the key goes into) but with little success, I need the key to take it out.
I then looked up online other ways to get this ignition lock out and someone had said to drill out the pin holding it in, I called the dealership and they said that it should work. I then went back to my car and dilled the pin for what seemed like for ever. The pin finally fell out but the ignition lock is still stuck in there.
Is there anything else I can do besides breaking my car some more? I don t have the $145 for the locksmith to fix it and I m at a loss.
