... woke up with a swollen knee and I couldn't move it. I work on my feet so this has completely put me out of commission. My orthopedic after ordering an MRI brought me back for an MRI review. The first time I saw his MA no him. He walks into the room at this visit and tells me the MRI report is still not in his system and that we would have to wait a few mins. Not even 5 mins pass he walks in and does the same physical exam the MA did. He goes on to tell me that it is a mcl strain since this is the area that hurt the most.

I leave the office being told I can be back a two to in 10 days. (I don't see how I am still in so much pain). And to wear. My brace everyday. He also put me for physical therapy.

Here is where the story goes sour. My lawyer asked for a copy of the MRI report I call the office and they tell me they never had it. How did he not tell me that? But he did have the imagining cd. Maybe he looked?

So I get my hands on the MRI report finally and it says
joint effusion
Mild to moderate ACL strain ( is this a tear?)
Mild MCL strain
And torn posterior horn of the medial meniscus

How many weeks should this really take? I have my job asking me when I am coming back.

Does the meniscus require surgery?

How bad is this really?

Should I get another doctor?
