Hello,
About a week and a half ago, I got a fishing hook lodge into my ring finger. I tried to remove it myself several time but came up unsuccessfully so I decided to go to Urgent Care where they numbed me up and removed the hook. However, during the healing process, I noticed that i'm feeling tenderness and tingling, especially when I type or if I press on the wound directly. Did I puncture a nerve? and if I did, howl long will it heal? or did I damage something else?
Thanks,
Christian
Thanks Lucan1010 for your reply. I believe the fishing hook penetrated pretty deep into my finger and when I attempted to remove it myself, I felt like it hit a nerve. It's been almost two weeks now and I can see that my finger where the hook lodge in is swollen. I'll give it more time to heal but I just wanted to see if this discomfort was normal.
