I have been seeing someone for about 3 months. This person and I had a small argument about a week ago and we didn't speak for about that long. Finally when we did, he decided that we would be friends. At first I agreed, but then decided I couldn't because I liked him more than a friend and because we had been intimate before.

He came over face to face and told me that "He wants us to DATE without intimacy or TITLES so that we could get to know each other more and DEEPER." I agree that things did move kind of fast. And he claims that this has been on his mind for quite some time. This confused me. I thought that when ppl are in relationships they have issues and GROW from them NOT decide that they are going to take steps back.

He wants us to still be affectionate but LOYAL to each other. In other words, not see other people BUT work on getting closer to each other and not date outside of this "non-relationship."

What in the world is that supposed to mean? He claims he isn't seeing anyone else but why would you suddenly not want a relationship but to DATE after a argument?
