He gave me any money. Is it a correct sentence?

He gave me any money. I don't think it's correct, but to make sure, I'll try to rearrange the words. I couldn't rearrange the sentence. if you get rid of "any", then it will be correct. But, the sentence "He gave me any money" is not grammatically correct.

We say "Did he give you any money?" but the reply might be "He gave me some money," or "He did not give me any money."
