Its summer and my sleeping schedule has been turned upside down. I would stay up all night and sleep all day. I've been trying to fix this for quite some time because my school starts in 24 days. I've tried things like not sleeping for an entire day just so I would sleep the following night. However, this doesn't work. I mean it should, right? Its worked for me in the past. It doesn't, though. I will be extremely tired throughout the entire day and then when it is time for bed, I cannot sleep a wink. I've tried this maybe 5-8 times in the last weeks and it doesn't work. I've been getting headaches and its worrying me that I might develop some type of ailment. I really need help. My parents absolutely never take me seriously, as I have those 'Stop overreacting, youre fine' kind of parents. What's wrong with me? And as a last solution, how old do you have to be to buy over the counter sleeping pills? Im 14. Thank you for your time.

You need to study some books about nutrition so you know how to eat right. Warm milk and calcium pills are the best sleep aid you will ever find, and the only side effect is strong bones.
I have had insomnia all my life before I learned the calcium thing, and the only other trick I ever found was to leave the lights off when the sun went down.
