I'm 18, live in North Carolina, and I have a motorcycle only (NO CAR) I need to get my car license before i am allowed to obtain my motorcycles license/permit. I want to know if I need to get car insurance to get my actual car license or if since I'm only going to ride my motorcycle if motorcycle insurance will cover me? I also do not own a car like i said so I don't see any way to take a driving test?! what do I do?
Had a question about getting my license and such?

Also my parents aren't helping me and haven't since i was 16 therefore using there car 1 time for a driving test isn't an option.

You are going to have to find a friend with a car. It shouldn't be that big of a deal. Just offer to buy them lunch or some menial payback for the favor since the test will be over very quickly. Then you have your car licence, and can get a motorcycle endorsement. if the owner of the car has a reputable insurance company then you should be covered, but a quick view of that company's policy online will answer that for you. Good luck.
