GPS turning on by itself?

Yesterday, I got a new android tablet that runs Jellybean 4.2.2, So yeah, whenever I would turn on the data switch, GPS turn's on by itself, I don't get it, Is that common? How do I fix it? Thanks

it might be something in the network or application that makes that happened the way it was set up you might be able to change it but i would take it to someone you know that works on them to either figure it out or what would be better to deal with
