Got a virus on my laptop a few years ago & it deleted everything on my laptop. Can I get it back?

do you have a boot disk or recovery disk this helps recover some of that stuff also you want to have a good virus protector and spyware to get theses things off the laptop this way you could recover the files and programs if you don't have any of this stuff then the next one you might be able to reload windows if you have a windows disk
