Yesterday I found a book named Redcoat Spy and on the first page there are some lines...

Presumably a previous owner of the book to whom it was gifted, not necessarily any personage. A myriad of my father's hand me downs and old library books have such scribbles on the inside of the cover. The poetic modicum are neat, although most just devalue it to collectors.
