...I don't know about you, but thoughts don't come to me naturally. Thinking is kind of a skill that has to be sharpened up and polished on. I'm constantly trying to think, but it is just too hard and requires too much effort. I really feel like I lack sharpness in my thinking and lack the ability to think naturally and freely. I feel like my brain may be lacking proper blood flow and or electrical pulses from synapses in the brain. In ways I feel like I may have parts of my brain that are underdeveloped and may have asperger's syndrome. I am constantly looking for ways to think faster, improve brain performance, and be more productive, but I just can't seem to find myself. I could list the ways that I try to improve cognitive performance, but I think I will save that for another question. HELP!

in some ways you are right. You have to use it or you will lose it. But a great way to have a sharper mind is by reading, practicing math problems and just having real conversations with people. Talk about subjects that matter, not video games or movies that you like but talk about politics or ideas you might have for inventions etc.
No bodybuilder ever got huge muscles by sitting around and watching TV. It was difficult, but they still did what they had to and earned it.
I read a lot on the internet, but it doesn't seem to make me sharper mentally. Can you think of any exercises such as the n-back game that might help? I've tried gingko biloba, but it seems to be a placebo more than anything else. Do you think that Jim Kwik's program kwiklearning would help. I've also come across this group called the wezit group that gives illusions, which train the brain and eyes, but it costs money. Sigh, in ways I make myself unproductive by trying to be productive.
