well because almost all of us either have a small bussiness or a large bussiness or looking into starting a bussiness or work for a bussiness and run it within that company its to teach us how it suppose to be run what works for that company and how we can keep it running or introducing new techniques into that bussiness to keep it up to speed
The same reason we study anything....because we want to do it properly...get it right. You give yourself the best chance of succeeding in anything by knowing as much as possible about how it works. Otherwise the only thing that stands between success & failure is luck & relying on luck equates to chaos.
