What is the difference between the Anime Fate/Stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works] Movie and Series? I have watched the film and started the series, however, I don't want to watch a repeat of the film. Is there a difference?

Usually the anime is canonical (except for fillers in longer animes' case) to the original manga or book of the author. A movie is usually not in line with the true storyline and is just made by the studio and not the actual author. It's just kind of like added content that wasn't in the original, and so sometimes isn't given credit in the real storyline due to inconsistencies and things the author didn't actually mean to happen.
