Google - What is imperative that we use alternative energy instead of fossil fuels moving forward?

Fossil fuels are limited, which is why they're so expensive, and as it becomes harder and harder to find, the price will go up, as will the risks (like oil shale).

Burning fossil fuels are trashing our environment, causing smog, piercing the ozone, and contributing to global warming.

A lot of our oil comes from countries we shouldn't be helping financially. Horrible people are thriving because they were lucky enough to have oil under their sand dunes.
