... account. Comes to show they used my ex boyfriends card that was apparently saved onto my account months ago after he helped me make a payment. I didn't authorize them to use that card, nor did he. So now he is filing fraud and pressing charges. Will I get in trouble for CNAC's mistake?!
Google - So my car place, CNAC, posted a payment towards my car. However it didn't come from my bank

How can I protect myself. I told the car place I didn't authorize the payment and I wanted them to refund. They hung up on me. What do I do now?

have him go into the account and delete his card number information that way they can't use that information anymore now your ex boyfriend can file charges agianst them for unlawful use of a credit card you can't be held liable cause you didn't authorize them to use the card he'll get his money back it will take a bit of time while you are thinking about it see if you made that payment to the cnac if not you might want to make it tell them they don't have that right to falsely charge someone else for your bill and take that information off your account
