... been over sensitive lately and I've shown a few other symptoms of being pregnant but I'm just not sure. Could I be pregnant or is my period just abnormally late?

Keep taking the tests every week or so, if they have so far said you are not then I doubt you are (they aren't 100% perfect, but pretty close!)
34 days does seem like a while, has there been any other changes recently that may have affected you? If you have been worried about being pregnant, this may cause you to "lose" a period.
Relax for now, take one a week for the next two weeks and if still negative, then you can be sure.
you know the way your monthly is going its perfectly ok to have a late period but unless you have some medical issues that is causing it but i found when i was pregnant with mine i went 3 months with out a period so it might be normal for some and not so normal for others there are a couple things that you could look at if you have a straight line going from your public line up to your belly button or you or the reverse line thats a sure sign of being pregnant baby bump is another anxiety moodyness is another having your energy drained is another hope this helps stress can delay your period also
you can't really get a positive test so early after your missed period, you have to be pregnant for a while for home test to be positive.
I think you could be pregnant unless you have lately been ill and your hormones are going nuts or you are very underweight, undernourished or overweight which can cause you to stop ovulating and/or have no more periods which is a problem and you need to go to doctor..
What I recommend is to go to your gynecologist or GP and get them do the test or do an ultrasound like all normal pregnant women or women with menstrual problems do.
Either good luck with your problem or congratulations on your +1!
