Google - My kid just got charged with several counts of aggravated assault in Adams County PA?

We've lived in Virginia for years. My question is if he's convicted, can anyone please tell me where he'll serve his time? In PA where he was charged or in Virginia where we reside? All I know is Preliminary hearing is taking place on Adams County, Thank you, concerned parent

When you go to his court hearing, the Judge residing over his case will tell you where he'll serve his time. Usually, they have to serve where the crime was committed to pay back the jurisdiction, but you'll find out when the Judge tells you.
